The Foundation’s three supporting service clubs are again sponsors and hosts for the 32nd annual breakfast to honor those receiving 2016 scholarships through the Foundation.
Students, parents, and Northshore educators will gather Thursday, May 19 at 7 a.m. at the Senior Center in Bothell to honor the 67 recipients of new and renewed scholarships valued at $180,570 – a record dollar amount issued from community individuals, families and organizations.
The sponsors are the Northshore Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club of Northshore and Woodinville Rotary Club. Breakfast is served at 6:45 with help from culinary arts students, the Hope String Quartet from Inglemoor and Bothell high schools will perform and Northshore school superintendent Larry Francois will deliver a message encouraging graduates to pursue their dreams at the next level of their education.
Guests are welcome. The Breakfast charge is $10. The senior center is located at 1201 East Riverside Drive. The event concludes at 8:30 a.m.
