Foundation scholarship programs are active building their accounts to sustain future scholarship opportunities for Northshore graduates.
The Jaimeson Jones Memorial Foundation reports raising $12,000 at their recent fundraising 5K run held at St. Edwards State Park in Kenmore. The 2017 date is March 11.
The Parker Archie Moore Memorial Golf Tournament played last June raised funds sufficient to provide three new and two renewal scholarships for academic year 2016-17 – each at $2,500. The 2nd annual tournament is June 20, 2016 at Bear Creek Country Club.
The April fund raising brunch was so successful that the Wall of Honor Committee will increase its 2017 scholarship to $3,000. The annual Wall of Honor ceremony is August 18 at Pop Keeney Field in Bothell.
