15-Year Educational Journey of a Physician-Scientist
This incredible story has stopovers in Seoul, Bothell, Woodinville High School, M.I.T., New York, Honduras, Oxford, Harvard Medical School and finally in Boston.
It is a story illustrating how the Scholarship Foundation of Northshore played an early, yet small part in Laurel Lee’s 15-year educational journey that today finds her a Cardiovascular Medicine Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In 2001, Laurel set out to become a physician-scientist.
Meet Dr. Laurel Lee, recipient of $3,500 in scholarships upon graduation from Woodinville High School in 2001 from the Woodinville Rotary Club. In January, Laurel’s full story — “A Journey Launched” — will be featured in UpNext and on our website at www.sf-ns.org. Stay connected.
