Record Setting Year For Scholarships
This just in! The Foundation has completed finalizing the selection of 75 scholarship winners who will receive 2017-18 tuition grants totaling $196,500 from Foundation sponsors.
Notices are in the mail to the recipients. The many selection and interview teams received nearly a thousand applications to review during February with interviews conducted in March and into early April.
The recipients and their families will join sponsors for the 33rd annual Recognition Breakfast on Wednesday, May 24 at the Senior Center in Bothell.
This means that over the past 33 years, a total of 1,850 graduates of Northshore schools have received scholarships from the Foundation and the Rotary clubs of Northshore and Woodinville, and the Kiwanis Club of Northshore. The total exceeds $2.8 million.
