Northshore’s 2019 graduating seniors are encouraged to apply online from for a record-number scholarships offered through the Foundation to be awarded May 1, 2019.
In 2018, the Foundation issued its $3 millionth dollar in scholarships since organizing in 1984. The milestone was reached when the Town of Grace Entrepreneurial Trades Scholarship was awarded to Cassidy Fayden. Cassidy was a graduating senior at Secondary Academy for Success (SAS) planning to study classic car restoration at Lake Washington Tech.
In 2019, the Foundation is offering 89 scholarships – 28 of them renewals – which means the awards will have reached well over 2,000 recipients when the scholarships are announced and awarded at the 35th annual recognition breakfast on May 23, 2019.
