Support and encourage a Northshore School District high school graduate to enter the field of healthcare and/or behavioral health. Scholarship may be renewed pending recipient's progress toward earning a degree or certificate in a specific field of healthcare.
Criteria
- Graduate of a Northshore district high school planning to attend a two-year or four-year college or a vocational institution with accredited programs in the health care professions and/or behavioral health. Service to school and community is a requisite.
- Provide evidence of extracurricular activities in service to others.
- Candidate must describe career plans and life goals.
- Letters of recommendation are accepted but not required.
- Financial need is not a primary consideration for selection.
- Priority given to First Generation candidates.
Requirements
- Interview process involving the sponsor and designated participants.
