To encourage qualified candidates who, without financial aid for tuition costs, would be unable to attend college.
Criteria
- Available to graduates of North Creek and Woodinville high schools and Secondary Academy for Success (SAS).
- Financial need is a primary consideration.
- Preference given to Candidates who will be the first person in their immediate family to attend college.
- Intends to enroll in a two-year or four-year academic program in a field of study or college of candidate’s choice.
- Has displayed an interest in extracurricular activities in high school and programs outside the school that involve service to others or personal self improvement.
- Has sought and/ or gained employment to set aside money for college.
Requirements
- Candidates are interviewed by a committee comprised of representatives of Banner Bank, the Scholarship Foundation and/or Woodinville Rotary Club.,
- Will describe a strong commitment for service to others at school and in the community.
