PURPOSE - Place an academic, technical or vocational scholarship for a promising graduate of Inglemoor High School funded by matching dollars contributed by individuals, businesses, families and organizations of the Northshore communities.
Criteria
- Graduating senior at Inglemoor High School.
- Has a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Has maintained a strong record of school and community service. Consideration given those who have been involved in Northshore Interact Club (Rotary) or Key Club (Kiwanis).
- Financial need a strong consideration.
- Applicant intends to work toward a two-year associates degree, four-year university degree, or attend a technical school or a certificated vocational or occupational program.
- Candidate to identify whether planning to transfer to four-year school to complete degree requirements.
- Candidate will identify his or her field of study and/or major to follow.
Requirements
- SPECIAL ESSAY QUESTIONS (select one): (1) Describe how you would give back to your community by identifying or fulfilling specific needs of your fellow citizens. What leadership role would you like to provide? (2) How should the Scholarship Foundation of Northshore go about better informing the public of the opportunity to sponsor or to apply for one of the variety of annual scholarships offered by the Foundation and its Donor Partners.
- Finalists to be interviewed in person or virtually by a selection committee comprised by the Scholarship Foundation.
