To provide a scholarship for a promising graduate of Secondary Academy for Success (SAS).
Criteria
- Must show evidence of the ability to succeed at the next level beyond high school.
- May attend a two- or four-year college or an institution specializing in programs in developing vocational or occupational skills.
- Has a strong record of service to others -- in school or in the community.
- Financial need is a strong consideration.
Requirements
- Finalists will be interviewed at S.A.S. by an interview team from Northshore Rotary Club in early April.
- Recipient notified on or prior to May 1 to be the guest of Northshore Rotary at the annual Recognition Breakfast in late May.

About the Sponsor
Northshore Rotary Club organized the scholarship foundation as a non-profit community organization with a mission to provide scholarships to graduating seniors in the Northshore school system. The club made a $12,000 donation in 1985 to establish an account within the Foundation.
The organizing group included Phil Carter, Lowell Haynes, John B. Hughes, Carl Knoll, Egon Molbak, Bob Munro, Bill Renn, and Marv Workman.
